I think the ! light is also part of the ABS as well as handbrake. When my car has stood over night then it takes a similar amount of time to yours to go out. It seems as if the ABS has to pressurise. Further starts in the day re fine.

Sounds like a fueling issue, or a mapping issue for the Turbo. My guess is the ECU is not fueling at the right level when the engine is cold. How many miles has it done?

Sounds a little like mine, only diff is mine happens only occasionally, and only when re-started hot, and the check engine light comes on. If I try pulling away like that then a snail is faster. Does yours happen every time?

Yes they whole thing will stop. If you try driving then the compressor will lock out. Then its a trip the LR for testbook to clear the faults. Dave

They are specific to the car. You have to buy a new one. Dont even attempt to buy a cheap one or second hand one. Waste of money. They will not work. Dave

Can anyone answer why when the relay drops out, and the ecu should return to the correct map, does my check engine light on the dash board come on. This seems to change to map to low power.

Cant explain why bu the second time I fitted the mod without timer, it hasnt changed the tickover, or effected the fueling map. Also the relay seems to drop out shortly after starting.
