It's like you put your brakes on as normal, the abs feels like its pulsing, but with a bag of sand between the disc and pad! With no pedal feels, but you lift off and reapply and they are fine, Forgive me for butting in op! But yours sounds the same as mine Granted a different car but same issue

Just done fuel pressure sensor and harness, and the lp pump on my Freelander, and de egr'ed it!! No dodgy start up and goes like stink now, I had same symptoms as you up till last Sunday when it just refused to start

Just done the de egr mod! Didn't bother cleaning the inlet out it was pretty god damn clean! Surprising as its on 90k

Oh yeh it died the other day hence the work!

Replaced the fuel pressure sensor the harness and the lp pump, it now works again, been struggling to start and was very sluggish lately , feels brand new now and starts on the button

Looks like stainless steel to me so depend ant on type it may not be magnetic, grease and a hoover sounds like the best suggestion
