its shouldn't be mega tight............. but yep from above may be possible..... its hard to get in there at the best of times

Disco 2 drain plugs don't fit...... The Disco 2 axle bungs are only 21mm and the Defender plug is 25.7mm and a different thread................. back to the drawing board

SHOULD ??? we add some petrol over the winter , say 1 gallon petrol per 8 gallons derv to thin the derv for low temps or is modern day derv better than it used to be {thread hijack..sorry}

mine went through a phase of that last year after changing the coolent and adding antifreeze...... bleed it a couple of times and "appears" to have gone away, I also had the dread of head failure as I think mine is a 10P engine and I understand some of them had issues

have you tried to get it plugged in and look for ECU fault codes ???

GUYS thanks for the advice, I popped to John Craddocks in Cannock earlier and picked up the Disco 2 brass level plugs plus O rings { £5.00 for 2 ;-) } ....... will take out the knackered level plug tonight and swop over.... once again many thanks for the pointers and help.... Jay

Evening....... checked the oils and levels tonight and noticed the rear axle oil level plug {1/2 drive to tighten} was loose and leaking a bit, got the 1/2 drive out and undid it, topped up the oil and started to do it up.....then the large level plug went straight through the other side and...

I ran new{ish} General Grabber TR in the snow last year without an issue...... still had around 10mm of tread left so plenty to clear the snow HOWEVER the snow does hold in the treads

Guys are we getting 2012 Low Emission Zone (LEZ) confused with Congestion charge ?? I put the reg number into the City of London web site and came back the vehicle was NOT allowed under the 2012 LEZ... mine is a genuine yr 2000, TD5 CSW..... pls advise ? ?

Hi all Got the tank out whilst welding in a new rear cross member, the fuel pump has 4 fittings, think the fuel line colours in my head are Black, Yellow, Red and white ??? does anybody know what leads where OR is any of them just a return back from the engine bay ???
