    mine has also done the same recently and i thought the rest of the chassis was reasonable but decided to re chassis and am glad i did as the rest of it was pretty bad in places where you cant see.

    right sorry for no update for a long time... we fought the insurance for a long time but got to the point where we had had enough and wanted the car back. they wrote it off and paid out £3,800 approx and we bought it back for just over £600, i then spent the weekend welding on another cross...

    Right just had the guy out from "the man for landrovers" to assess the landy... he says that the chassis is actually bent up from where the volvo went under it plus the obvious damage to the door the crossmember wheel carrier etc. He said they could repair it with a new chassis and turn it...
