    Just bought a new un!

Nice car and a lot for little money! Got my fave wheels on as well. Is is v8 petrol or td6 diesel? Be careful when you remove the light guards as there will be holes left. Make sure you have it properly sealed or it will bite you with rust in a very short time. £150 is about right for the...

    Wading depth?

@datatek. Have had my RR in water up to the top of the bonnet and drove it for some 80m through it. Bow wave even went over the roof. Not a stutter....... Didn't even get any water inside the cockpit. The important thing when wading is to keep your foot steady and the revs and speed up (keeps...

    Water In boot

The sunroof drains are in the front or rear corners. The best way I think is to compressed air blow through. Make sure you empty all the water out first by removing the spare wheel and really thoroughly mopping out. Yu can help yourself by taping up the holes in the rear-most part of the boot so...

Rear wiper working then NOT working - HELP!

Follow on From Previous Thread: L322 2003 4.4 V8 Vogue on Gas MPG....

Saint, I work that out at 23.58 mpg (£57.91 divided by cost of 1ltr petrol, £1.34 = equivalent amount of petrol yu would have purchased for that amount of money. That's 43ltrs of petrol equiv. divide by 4.55 litres in a gallon which gives you 9.5 gallons. 224 divided by 9.5 gives 23.57 mpg. I...

L322 purchase: Is this a good deal?

Don't be put off by service record. LR service record is not worth the paper they are written on IMHO. far better a RR specialist or enthusiast having done the servicing than the sh@te that some apologies for LR dealers carry out. Find a local specialist near you is my advice. Mine had no...

Who said this was a good idea??

Saint, you should get c. 25-31equivalent mpg. I always zero my trip counter when filling up and always fill up full each time. Then you can work out cost by either dividing your fill cost by miles giving cost per mile or divide the fil cost by cost of a litre of petrol and then by 4.55 to get...

WTF have I done? I've got that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach....

V8, well done. U have deffo done the right thing! That IS a find at £7k if it is as good and fualt free as it seems. i have had 2 L322s in the last 3 yrs and they have been sublime and prob free compared to my p38 autobiograpy. Make sure you check all four hoses as they are known to...

    L322 Service

suggest you go and search on fullfatrr.com. All the answers to all your questions here. There is a split decision between changing gearbox oil. If it's more than 70,000 some say it's only asking for trouble as dirt and debris get dislodged and damage the box so leave alone. If less, then...

    P38 or L322?

Have had a June 2002 TD6 HSe with all the Vogue upgrades (except satnav) for over 2 years now. bought it sight unseen and undriven. 5 owners and no FSH at all. Driven over 20,000 miles+. Only drama was having to change the air suspension pump (£150 second-hand). Travelled flawlessly to Europe...
