Guessing ..... Only seems to smoke when moving and then only for a few seconds when stationary but started it up and was running for over an hour on the driveway with no white smoke and going through the rev range with engine at normal temperature.. engine doesn't overheat.

could it be the turbo seal ?

So came out to the discovery today to clean her up and start fault finding and putting costs together. 1. Presumed head gasket fail when I drove vehicle home and engine had warmed up White smoke starting to come from exhaust . So today started her up and had her running for a good 1hr 30min...

its got a disco 200 ( turbo is at bottom ) just bought a 300tdi 99 Disco which needs my attention and S2a has been fun but its either the 110 or the S2a and the 110 is far more useful.

Hi guys , In process of getting a discovery just wanted to check something with you , The vehicle is a 1999 "T" 300tdi is this correct as thought they stopped on a R plate and the S was a TD5. Have searched forum and can't seem to find an answer vehicle is defiantly a D1 body.
