Its all crap, if they want it, they will steel it, all false security does is take them a little longer to take it, seems to me that when a car alarm starts blatting away no one even cares. Putting the wheels on full lock is a good idea as is parking where a lorry cannot get easy access.

You would need a whole garage for them tools, I'd just be happy with a garage that I could get my Landy in!

Without being there it is hard to get a good diagnosis, lay shaft snapped maybe?

Don't think it is illegal to have a 16" spare when you have 18" wheels but it would be illegal to fit it and drive on the public highway, also fairly dangerous

I have a defender 200 TDI, pretty bullet proof I'd say, only problem I had was a rotted rear crossmember

Hi James, there is one wire coming out of the fusebox which is again purple. Thanks Station, there is no power at the switch so I'm guessing that the ignition live is the one at fault which is purple with a blue trace.

Thanks Andy Land, first place I checked, then the door buttons then the fuse, where I found no power to the live side, its one of those tiny problems that does your head in after a bit. I really mean the fuse dungus, defo purple wire, well two on the live side, if it wasn't for it being two...

Getting about 35/36 out of my Defender 200 TDI. Just driving here and there I thought it was pretty good, no mods just regularly serviced (not light footed either)

Both look good tyres, fair price difference between them though. There are so many different tyres on the market of this type, it makes for a tough choice, keep the ideas coming :confused:

Hi, Looking to get some new tyres for my 90, modular rims, 2 inch lift. Have been looking at 265/75/16, want an on/off road tyre, anyone have any suggestions?
