I have to either charge the battery over night or jump start it now, as it wont turn over. Worse case can it be towed to a garage approx 2 miles away, it is a TD4 Automatic version, so I am guessing it can't be. Thanks for the quick reply.

How do I clean the governor as never heard of it before :(. Not sure if my disco is worth a new gear box to be fair as the injector pump has been on the way out for a while to :(

Thank you for the reply and suggestion. I have not heard of a governor, is it something that can be removed and cleaned easily. My mechanical skills are growing but I am really a novice, but willing to try if advise given. Many thanks

Managed to sell it yesterday

I find that they go green with mould or moss. The Series 3 that is a project at the moment has moss the roof that has been there so long it has practically gone hard and crystalised lol

My SWMBO, has to keep her new to her freelander shiny, have to say it does look smart in the Monte Carlo Blue :)

I washed mine today - apart from the roof, that was beyond any sponges ability lol
