yes, the situation is as Divie said, i got stung with a 3 baring unit just 4 months ago, being a 3 baring unit will mean its more liable to POP ITS CLOGGS than a 5 UNIT. but being honest with you both are terrible engines unless you start fresh with them, but that's just my opinion and the land...

Why not buy a project and use rest of money to build your dream landy? On gumtree in Scotland or maybe eBay UK is x2 landy 90's one is a 1988 with winch and 2.8tdi in blue and other is red with a genuine defender 200tdi lump but is another 1988 1750 each open to offers too

unless I am mistaken (judging by the grill and bulkhead I think that's a 2a) anything PRE 1971 is 2-2a but I love that very nice, G90 goodyear tyres (wolf style) what they like for the road? are they noisy?

just my engine came out a G.REG 90 truck cab and I know the engine well as its out my mates old landy, great starter and driver, but its 0nly just under 50000miles and has never missed a service or a beat. but they seem to be slaged off a lot, thanks for getting back to me PD:5bcheers2:

agreed, lol, I did my first engine change with a medium adjustable wrench and a bicycle spanner lol

as long as not all cut up, just I have my 19j very low miles engine but came with no hoses or filters caps or nowt, cheers mate
