I figured it out, apparently 2.5td and 200tdi have external fuel pumps, so the straight pipe is the only pipe going into the tank. The external fuel pump is mounted on the right side of the engine. NOT sure when the vehicle pumps change to internal, but mines an 87. So that gives you a...

I Just bought a new fuel pump for my defender 110. The one that goes into the gas tank. The one I pulled out it a straight pipe, with no fuel pump on it. Is this standard and do I put the new fuel pump in or do I just use the old one.

You think it's remini red or some thing like that? Where did you get it painted?

Just put mine back together, Taking apart a breeze, putting together a different story. Just follow a manual for the first side. After that its a breeze on the other side.

Has anyone ever tried britparts gaiters for the front axle. Don't do it. Had to do so much customizing of the rubber. The only good thing about the kit is the glue. Dries really quick. Thank The Lord. Never realized how difficult rebuilding axles could be. Never again that's for sure...

These are the shims I used, think I have it to thick. Need to drop a few to get a the swivel mount moving more freely. Good thing Paddocks has cheap spacers.

I ordered the kit through Paddocks spares. Looked legit. But it only came with four shims varing in size. So the wooden piece goes inthe bottom section of the upper swivel mount. Then the shims then the upper swivel piece. One more question? What torque would you suggest on the...

Front Axle problem, I replaced the upper swivel pin, and added the washer supplied by paddocks, but they don't seem to add enough gap between the housing. There are 4 shims supplied. I used one of the larger shims from the other set and now it I have the right pull on the swivel rotation...
