i think that they should keep roughly the same, add things like airbags, and a safer front end (crumple zones maybe). But no.1 priority is to keep it instantly recogniseable and still as adaptable as current ones. make interior more comfy maybe?

it will cope fine...just be a tad on the noisy side. could always swop over the transfer boxes ;)

yeh i know its a different, but still based- all be it loosly - on the 300tdi. so might be able to make use of the varyable vane turbo. the late 300tdi's had a chip or something to controll them i believe, but only the last ones (discos and defenders)
