Hi if you look on back of alternator there are 3 wires and 1 wire a small wire is probably connected to a spade connector not eyelet,if its got a black looking bit on it remove it and just replace with a round connetor refit and it should work ok this is quite a common problem hope this helps tiga.

Well running on veggie for about 8 mths since i done the heat exchanger it runs and starts better and smells not quite so bad fuel consumption about the same as normal diesel the main thing is the engine is quieter running on svo so there you are no problems yet still grinning.tiga.
