Is it not a problem having all the other stuff in it? Petrol, water, antifreeze?

Has anybody tried one of the centrifuges from oilybits? It will remove the water and all the contaminants, i'm not sure if it'll remove the antifreeze tho? At about £500 for one its not cheap but would pay for itself in 5 month (in my case). Any thoughts on it??:confused: Also i've just...

OK, if i'm pumping it out of a 1000ltr tank and drop my pump a few inch of the bottom should that avoid pumping any water out if i'm only taking about 100ltr? And is the risk of antifreeze anything of a problem?:confused:

Am i searching for the wrong thing? Cant find a system that will filter everything out of the oil. What do you other guys do to clean off the water, antifreeze etc?

Obviously not read loads on it but from what i did read it only filters out the pure water leaving everything else behind?:confused:

From 40 quid BUT I doubt that would filter the water from the oil:confused: Works by drawing water through the filter. Can you recommend one? would still leave the petrol tho:(

I've tried a few garages and all say the same, yes i can have thier oil BUT it might have petrol and water in it as they chuck everything in the one tank for disposal, how do i clean off the water and petrol?:confused:

I waxoyled mine before i put it on, i don't recommend it, tank was as slippy as fook lol. It went on a lot easier than it came off, still had to use a crow bar to lever it up tho. You'll have to put the small diameter overflow pipe on the tank 1st then in theory with the tank under the...
