    Arb links inverted

Here are the pics. Do you think the bracket needs a spacer? I'm sure the arb won't reach down to the correct position. Cheers Paul

    Arb links inverted

Thanks Kevstar. My 110 has a 2inch lift kit but it looks like the mounts have been lowered. When I was looking at the arb/links earlier it seemed to me like the arb would not be long enough for the links to sit in there intended position.(hope that makes sense) Cheers Paul

    Arb links inverted

Thanks for the reply lynall. I'll look into it tomorrow. Is it just a case of separating the links from the arb, dropping them down and reattaching? Cheers Paul

    Arb links inverted

Hi, the rear arb links on my 200tdi 110 would appear to be upside down! They must have been like this all the time I've owned it, but I've never realised it was wrong until today when I had a look under someone else's defender. When I say upside down I mean the end that the arb is connected to...

Yes I found the feed but the dash light isn't coming on. I will find my tester or use a bulb tomorrow to see if the feed is live. I did have a major loom accident a few years ago(It got tangled around the steering components) and a mate who is an electrician got everything working, but!!!!

Thanks to everyone for your help, I know it's been painful at times. Unfortunately due to corvid 19 I've got loads of time on my hands and a defender that's due for some tlc. Seriously Thanks!

How do you adjust the pivot point? I see there is a 13mm nut and washer that is tight up to the gear box but loosening or tightening these doesn't seem to do anything! Thanks for your patience

I don't have a live feed to the switch! Also the spigot doesn't turn clockwise far enough to engage the lock when using the selector lever in the cab. I can only get the diff lock to engage by using a spanner on the spigot.

Thanks for the reply Kermit. I've jacked one front wheel up.

So I've removed the swtch and selected diff lock using the lever selector in the cab and the raised wheel still spun freely. I put the 13mm spanner on the spigot nut and turned it clockwise to it's furthest position and the wheel only rotates about a sixth of a turn. I'm guessing that means the...

Good Morning, after digging mud away I've found said switch. Unfortunately it only has an earth wire attached and I can't find another wire floating about anywhere. I'll take the switch out now and get back to you. Cheers Paul

Hi guy's,sorry for the delay Hi, sorry for the delay! I've finally had time to have a good look. I put the 13mm spanner on the spigot nut and turned it clockwise, it did turn further than the linkage was doing but unfortunately the jacked up wheel still spins. What are my options?? I'm very...
