The remap I have quotes max torque at 325nm so this is why I'm less worried. I have driven a friends 2.5 with a tune by a well known Coventry based company and it went like stink even with light throttle, now that I would expect to cause gearbox issues.

Today - (well yesterday now) I took a load of rubbish to the tip. Last week had 2 new tyres on and put 18" wheels back on (20" going on ebay). It's more comfortable on 18" and I haven't had an EAS fault since doing it (perhaps I shouldn't have said that!!!). :)

Just had fault codes on eas reset at my local garage after renewing seals and piston liner on pump 3 days ago. Mind you will think about investing in my own reader - they charged me £48 for the privilege.

So would I connect the 4mm direct to pin 4 connection along with the standard wire, or remove standard wire and tape up leaving 4mm on its own?

Does anyone know what the wire rating and fuse size is on the 12S electrics side - pin 4? I have located the spare socket on LH rear of vehicle. I've tried a search but can't find what I'm looking for. About to fit 12S electrics and I would like to be certain that the 20amp that ATC draws is...

On the way out to the pub last night I did just that :) The new setting was just slightly higher than originally. Hoping that now I am not driving an albeit 'cream crackered' fan I might get a better fuel consumption - I might actually get 20.5 mpg rather than 20.3 mpg :) (too much town driving!!!)

Ok thanks ... I did think that I may have possibly set it a bit low and that it may be trial and error (although I don't want 'error' to end up with a damaged engine :) ) I'll assume for the moment the thermostat reads correct and up it slightly. When I tow my tin tent of course it'll run...
