collected another disco with mine today hopefully mine can have a rest from towing cars everywhere and this 300tdi can take up the job

put the dislocation cones on front and rear with spring retainers on the front. then put the +5 terrafirma pin to pin rear shocks on to match the fronts. just need to sort extended brake flexi's now as doing this I have seen just how tight the rear one gets. thinking of +150mm ones and moving...

with the damage to the prop I would personally be looking for a prop not just the uj

washed her off just need to get the jetwash underneath to loose the salt off her. also got my dislocation cones and front spring retainers delivered from my parents as a xmas pressie :D now need to get them fitted asap as I seem to be loosing the front springs out their seats even on the road

towed 2 cars back to the yard and pulled a dead 3 ton forklift out the way in the yard. quite glad the new lift pump and clean sedimentor has seemed to have solved the running issue

had the eldest change my lift pump for me to a new delphi one. lets see how long this one lasts

ok cheers for the help its the first time I have attacked it and I've had it a year now but the plastic screw did eventually come out complete and them with the diesel that came out it went in fine

whats the best way of checking it? just unscrewing the plastic :rolleyes: screw or removing the bowl. my screw was very tight to the point I thought it was going to snap off

just seemed excessive. hows the sludge build up like that?

glad I checked the sedimentor. I have a spare that I was looking to refurb so i could just replace it but from attempting to remove the fuel lines from the spare tonight and finding them seized. I found the bolt ontop to drop the bowl off the bottom so figured with having a spare I would try to...
