Check your ignition wires on the back of the key barrel previous owner probably piggybacked them so the voltmeter would work with ignition on Chris

Actually some of the welding ive seen on the cars that I have bought to restore over the years has been far worse!! It just always amazes me that such work has passed an MOT inspection on these cars:eek: BUT on the plus side it does give me room to negotiate:D
