    What have you done to your Freelander today

    Changed auxiliary drive belt, took 25-min and a 15mm goose-neck spanner £12 for the belt. garage would have charged around £50 in labour alone.

    Did the test today took 80 seconds to go from 90-deg to 45-deg and a further 60 seconds to go from 45-deg to bottom thereofre total time 125 (seconds to do it ) what do you make of it is it okay for a while yet or f****d and needs changing.     Hi, If you do a search on you-tube for freelander /vcu bearing change there is a very good step by step shot there. I think Hippo has one also, hope this helps all you need is a decent set of spanners. when you have done it post the time/any problems ect her it always helps Celt69
