the td gearbox will fit straight onto the 200tdi, i think you need to remome a dowel, but you dont need any adaptor plates.

ian, you dont need an adaptor plate, the series clutch and pressure plate fit straight on, like stig said, it took us half a day to drop mine in, its a piece of **** to do, the only fiddly bits were the engine mount and the exhaust. you also need to make sure you have a fuel return on your tank...

like i asked in the other post, how much did you pay for it, for example, if it was 1500 quid, then you got a nice motor, whereas if you paid 3 grand then it was overpriced considering what you have spent on it?
