its like any software, will only upgrade within that version. so v4 maps wont work with v5 maps. i upgraded to the latest v5 from an early v5 and no problems. its like going and buying a car and when the new one model comes out you expect to just swap them over with the dealer and drive off, nope.

I got a brand new Mantec wingtop snorkel for v8 with all th ebits for £100, in an old crappy brown wet box. Metal box for the rear of a defender, 15 Perfect defender windscreen, 8 Defender Wing mirror unit, 5 - just need the glass though the usual switches and tools.

Will be there, been there twice, seriouse bargins both times i.e. rear door (perfect bar no interior panel + wheel holder) £20.

I would disconnect the handbrake from the cable, see how the handbrake feels... does it come up on its own (stupid question but you never know) Can you move the cable by hand or pop a screwdriver in for grip? Dunno what else, update us though please as got a ponder on it.
