managed to get a genuine one out of a local LR dealership that was going under, only reason i did it to be honest! also, dont panic if the seal seems too loose when you fit it to the glass, its just stretched where you've started putting it on, making it loose where you finish, so just even it...

its a lot handier a job than its made out to be aaron, but definitely buy decent brand, you'll be astounded how quick cheap rubber disintegrates!! ( make sure you have a second pair of hands when fitting it, its a ballache of a job to do on your own :(

took it for its first spin today, power is absolutely terrifying :D i love it :D seems to handle spot on so far, but i only y had a very short spin so time will tell!

haha, today, while out in 60mph winds and driving rain, trying to sort out the gear selector, i didn start to wish id never started this project, but then i started it up and that put a smile on my face :P

Howya lads, Does anyone know the thread sizes of the inlet and outlet on the top of the 6 bolt steering box? i have to get new hoses made up to suit a PRV and the the cummins steering pump. Cheers!

make sure you have that filter pointing the right way up, theyre a #### of a yoke to get to flow properly if theyre not sitting right

Will a disco 2 donut (for the prop) fit on a defender prop, nevermind that it'll make the prop longer and wont fit, what i mean is, will the holes line up?? :)
