apart from the wheel arch trim,i removed mine and found it packed with mud.behind rear arches.

i found that oil mist from the breather leaked from the join in the pipe and ran down the back of the engine and dripped off of the gearbox not down the end where the cambelt is.but i suppose yours may have a leak on the end joint and run down the side of the engine contaminating the belt.just a...

no problem, just watch for silly things like water ingress in boot switch,and oil dripping from the top intake pipe and running down the engine and dripping from the bottom of the gearbox.no big problem. just annoying.

i have the `s` model and i can confirm it is 4 wheel drive,and as potus said without the tweaks.but they are still ok.

took the boot microswitch out to find out if there was water ingress, it keeps unlocking itself. no water at all but boot still unlocks itself:confused: .not only that but it actually opens the boot when you are driving.:eek:

did you shoot it in the car.:eek:well at least there would have been somewhere for the water to drain out of:D.

a untidy toolbox is a untidy mind:)

cleaned the water and ice from inside boot switch, and sprayed with electrical cleaner, put grease around rubber seal and went inside to defrost my hands.:D

repairs in 2020,front springs& strut top bearings,another battery,tyres,track rod ends twice:rolleyes:, bottom ball joints ,oil& filter change,air filter& pollen filter.that`s it for now.at least no welding:p

if its a fl2 its the button on the end of left side stalk i think and i own one.

mine is a fl2 so probably different.but my gauge sticks every so often ,so i found disconnecting the battery works.i think the fl2`s computer works out your driving style,and then calculates your fuel consumption,so disconnecting battery resets the computor and the fuel gauge then shows more...
