caster corrected radius arms- Neccessary on a 2" lift (Disco2)?

Suck it and see would be my advise. But I wouldn't use castor corrected arms, get swivels or a re-jigged axle casing. HTH

    s111/200tdi help !

They are very under stressed without the turbo and so will give years of service like that, however, personally I don't really see the point as most of the horse power and torque gains are from the turbo and intercooler.

    110 rear brake conversion

Thanks for that Jai, I hadn't realised that there was a bolt on conversion possible. I thought that you had to make mounts for the calipers.

    110 rear brake conversion

I'm sure there is a reason that there is a Salisbury axle under the rear of a 110. There are also disc braked versions on later 110s, although they are a bit expensive.

    Which standard height springs?

Remove the front prop, lock centre diff and go for a drive. That will soon tell you if it is prp shaft related for not :)

    110 rear brake conversion

But it won't be a Salisbury axle tho'. It is possible to convert a Salisbury drum to discs but needs some fabrication.

    s111/200tdi help !

Yeah plenty :) They will pull a Series with 3.54 RR diffs no problem, so feel like a sports car with normal gearing. If you are gentle on the throttle you will see into the 30s mpg as well. It is possible to do the whole conversion using all LR parts, you will have to modify some of them but...

What's this going to cost ????

A 200 from a Discovery is not an easy fit into a 109; the low slung turbo gets in the way of the chassis. A 200 from a Defender doesn't have this issue as the turbo is higher mounted....however the Defender engine commands a price premium for this reason (they are in fact an easier fit in all...

    Freelander td4

If you include the crank case breather in the service schedule (or fit the BMW item) then the TD4 is the best of the bunch....by a long ways IMHO :) For my money I would get the GS on 78K miles. The ES will be over 100k miles pretty soon and that is a psycological barrier to some buyers and...

Lsd for a 10 spline axle

Limited slip is often more severe as there are shock loadings thru the half shafts. A locking is 'kinder'. However, a Detroit locker is probably a good half way house. They are locked in normal operation but allow for some slip to allow cornering. Personally I would upgrade to 24 spline and...

    perkins

They are heavy. I would recommend that you look at a late Jap diesel engine if you want a good towing barge.

    19j on 200tdi chassis?

Yes in a word. Use the 19J engine mounts.

    Steering box alignment

I would suggest suspension bushes or a sticking caliper.

TD 19J Engine Oil Pressure low

Defo change the oil pressure sender. I fitted a recently recon'd 19J to a Defender and the oil light was on all the time. Swapped in the sender from the junked engine and the light went out. If you don't know when the oil was last changed I would do that and the filter as well.
