Well I would genereally say the same. However, I rebuilt my tub incl both quarter panels. One was genuine still wrapped off EBay, the other Britpart. It was just as good, just as thick metal, plus even had the box section bracket at the top... that the genuine one didn't come with! Basically...

Glue them with Tigerseal, then pop rivet the cappings on. This is not a bodge, some cars have all there panels bonded nowadays, oh, and buy the OEM version, should be fine.

Don't be tight. Play safe and buy new - you REALLY have no idea on the condition of second hand ones.

Yep, use cupro nickel only, and brass fittings.

I know people have had problems with sparewheels on back doors and Sankeys, but what about tailgates? Will a tailgate on a series truck foul on a widetrack when you open it? Cheers Protactor
