High and low are of little consequence of the CDL. I presume on a D2 you would have to fit a new linkage and lever if you didn't previously have a center diff lock.

So, the chances are the OEM or G (which is just made up nonsense unless it is in a Land Rover box) is no different than the cheaper version 🤔

Well I guess it all depends on your mot tester, put it in for a mot and see what happens or book it in for a emissions test. That is the only way you will get a real answer.

You could check fuel pressure if you buy a guage, will be a thread about it somewhere. Did it run fine before it broke down? We fitted a vdo pump which was £320, Land Rover a couple of hundred quid more.

They have a throttle stop which is a threaded bolt you wind in and out. If you have been messing around with your injection pump you will have seen this. Wind it in so it will only do 2000rpm if you are worried. If you are really worried then you shouldn't have messed around with your pump. You...

Son had 3 Amigos which we fixed doing the shuttle valve mod. Strangely it turned into 4 Amigos once, I hadn't plugged a cable in near the ABS pump! We have Foxwell and it diagnosed the above fault and MAF sensor using live data.

Could be injector seals/washers. Could be fuel filter or housing. Or fuel pressure regulator. If it was running fine before pump died and now it doesn't then it may still be pump related, especially if it is a cheap one. My son had an issue where it didn't start well and ran rough, we changed...

On a quick look this plug goes to the heater fan I think? So for diagnosis can I use the green wire for a live and black for earth?

The closed length is different, as the axle moves the prop will lengthen or shorten. If not going off road it might not matter so much.
