I too opted for no wheel spacers. I've got 16x8 Modulars with a -35mm offset:

I know the ones you mean. They've got the nylon type screw housing in them, right? When I had my boot floor replaced, the guy that did it forgot to cut them off the old one and weld them onto the new one, so I lost all mine. Tried looking for replacements but they simply don't appear to exist...

+1 on all of that. Am also wondering how this mod would compare to a tweaked pump and if it's even worth doing.

When I was there on Weds, there was a RR Vogue in the workshop ready to have the rear diff and drive shafts stripped out due to severe damage from the above problem.

A warning on another forum from a specialist I use: "Serviced a circa 2006 SC yesterday and once again the rear diff ran out putrified, rusty, water contaminated oil... Car has only covered 70k... I do suggest the diff's are checked (or better still, oil changed) every 30k as there seams...
