Search sniff test and read numerous posts describing sniff test using exhsust gas analyser over open coolant tank for hydrocarbons.

Hi I am new to this I have a 1.8 k freelander 2003 I have change the engine because that I had gone but this one has had a new head gasket a new thermostat but when I tune off the inside heater it boils over and tune it back on and it goes back down can any one help thanks.
