Not for many years. I built a shed to house the 3 tanks and equipment. Mostly made by me from scratch as that’s how I rock.
The thing that stopped me eventually aside from the hours a day in maintenance and husbandry was the water changes.
A minimum 50% water change a week with matured salt water was the biggest pain in such a large setup.

I agree about the water changes and the ongoing costs of marine salt etc,but the joy i got from them is the one thing that kept me going, but when i sold the shop i gave up on fish keeping completely.
