Rear springs both done now and shocks replaced! I just need to find a new nut for one sides top mounting as I stripped one.

Also just wondering what springs it looks like I removed? They look a little thicker so heavy duty? The new ones I've installed are the standard duty RKB101111s

Got some gas bottles on the exhaust down pipe nuts, all three are off but wound out two of the studs, not to worry shall buy some new ones, when I've saved up!
Fitted a downpipe from Empire, looks quite well made, shame it doesnt fit a bit better, it's literally a couple of mm from the chassis rail. That took a bit of persuading so I doubt the flexi section will last long.
While I was at it I came across a hole in the chassis behind the removable centre crossmember, what a shock!

I've found with the exhaust pipes there can be a bit of fettling needed to get them to fit, and not foul the chassis. to stop my downpipe rubbing on the chassis I've spaced the relevant bracket away from the chassis with a few washers. Also, I don't know what @Anaconda's is like, but mine have a joint between the downpipe and the centre section which has a kind of spherical mating face, so this can be clamped in different positions depending on where it is when you tighten the bolts. That can be useful to get a little adjutment to stop it rubbing on the chassis. Also, I've ended up drilling another hole in the bracket that attaches to the rear crossmember too, so as not to over-stretch the rubber. So there's a lot of fiddling about involved.

I will have to replace the studs on the downpipe top fixings yet. When I do that I shall have a but more off a faff around lining it all up.
It has a dummy cat on it, if that was a slightly different shape then it would be a nice fit.

The slight leak on the rear nearside hub has become more of a weep now. I noticed it last night when I went to a local meet up. Looks like, I’ll need to get a complete seal and hub nut kit and do the whole job. I’ll check the breather too.

I have plenty of the seals in stock, I used to buy them when close to free postage.
Had to come home on an AA truck once when the seal let go completely.
You can reuse the nuts and lock tab ( at a push) if you want to.

That's not a bad idea just sticking inexpensive useful stuff like that onto your orders so you have some stock of bits you'll need at some point.

Also I've been a little quiet as I'm now trying to do a few little bits every day to work through the backlog... she's temporarily off the road until I change the front springs/shocks/turrets, radius arm bushes, panhard bushes, track rod (its slightly bent) and the rear wheel cylinders! Hoping to get that all done over the long weekend, and I'm hoping it'll handle a bit better after all that!

Should do. What make/spec parts are you fitting?

So the bushes are all britpart black poly bushes, I know, not the best but as a weekend toy that I won't be doing anything particularly crazy in I think its fine, and I don't have a press to fit metalastic bushes. I'm generally trying to go middle of the road, not absolute cheapest but not crazy expensive either as ultimately it's going on a 37 year old vehicle that's far from mint!

Springs are all Britpart, shocks are actually Quinton Hazell (theres a reason behind that decision), Delphi wheel cylinders and I think the turret kit is britpart/allmakes too, Galv ones though!

My son fitted Britpart stock springs to his Ninety and are lasting well after 5 years or so, paint finish is still holding up aswell.

Im hoping for improvements all round really.

Not sure if anyone read my earlier posts about this 110 but it'd been off the road for 24ish years, sat on a sloped driveway so springs one side had sagged a bit, and bushes generally a bit worse for wear etc, they could even be original still, I don't know.

Poly bushes are good. If you do Aframe use proper bushes so you don’t have to remove them again. All other stuff is easy
