longest throttle cable - 200tdi LHD?

Dear Landyzoners,

can anyone advise on this?

I need a looong throttle cable for my particular application.

Euro-spec RRC with 2.5 VM currently converting LHD to RHD.

I need an overall length of at least 60" end to end.

I have seen some mention on the interwebs of LHD 200tdi Defenders (or maybe Disco 1) having this sort of cable.

Can anyone confirm? Offer a part number?

Not bothered which bulkhead fitting (Def or Disco) or pedal type (200 or 300), if different. I can adapt vehicle at this end.

VM is hopefully only a temporary measure, so I know I can use a kit car "universal" cable (eg: Venhill), but would like a Land Rover part if possible.

Could use two and rig up a connecting leverage type device, did this once with a handbrake cable

Oo, that would work. Nice idea. Could actually use any RHD cable to then operate the original LHD with all its associated fittings and adjusters. Thanks for replying. D.

Have you got any landrover shops near you that you can walk into & check part numbers ?
Had a Quick Look & nothing found. (Only the rally car kits)

I'm in Manchester, UK.
Did send Paddocks a message. Thought it might be something they would know - dealing internationally etc, but they just gave me a "don't know" response.
An independent specialist nearby called LandRanger. They are good guys and might be up for a challenge! I'm trying them next.
I was hoping with the worldwide reach of a forum, that somebody, maybe overseas, might have some experience of LHD Land Rover fitments.

Rally kit is a good shout as is landowner's suggestion above.
