Wedged some foam insulation round the fuel filter, the filter bracket has broken off. Good job it's has a housing round it.

Filled up with fuel, decided to do a last minute Greenlane trip tomorrow now that the seasonal TROs have been lifted.

I use a dust pan and brush inside mine.Washed it and polished it. Hoovered out the inside too. I got carried away…
I usually would but Mrs K was out so I thought I’d use the hoover whilst she wasn’t looking!

Day 5….
New wiper blade needed(replace 1 now the other has broke)
Filled screen wash up
Checked oil
Kicked tyres
All good & 180miles drive home.

Removed the bed system
Fixed(pop rivit) a bar back onto the tail gate
Installed the new spare wheel brackets to get the tyre off the floor.
Off to shops for nuts/bolts/washers. Replace stocks
And when the mrs won’t hold your nuts
use a magnet. meant I could go inside & do everything up

Spent a hateful day welding the chassis on the Ninety, another hateful day to look forward to tomorrow.
Why is it when welding on a bit of scrap metal you get a lovely weld, get underneath with your head wedged between propshaft and exhaust and your arm wrapped around the chassis in looks like s***!
Ok, I'm not the best welder but come on, give me a break!
On the upside I didn't get any weld in my ear.

Well today I started off tidying up the rear door on my 110 with some checker plate... naughty I know but it looks better than holes!
Went out with the dog and I could smell petrol after a while... pulled over and looked, petrol spraying out the hose to the carb where it'd perished on a bend. I had to bodge it at the roadside, and after stopping off to get more hose on the way back my afternoon was spend replacing fuel hose! Then the alternator belt too for good measure and got very filthy due to the waxoil.

It's a week for rescheduling things ... trailer was going on Friday, but now it's Monday evening when my mate is back from his holibobs to tow it as I don't have a towbar ...
