Progress or over complicated?
Although some things can make technological sense it doesn't mean it makes real life sense.. Some modern cars life expectancies really are getting to a ten year mark and we've no other choice in this decision and as it may not be a concern to the new driver which is fine for those who can afford these vehicles it doesn't benefit the rest of those who can't. Apart from being a waste of resources and energy, it's a ridiculous evolution of vehicles.
Putting 300bhp engine in a 3t tank of a car for example, will require spaceship tech to stop it going through a school fence and hurting people, oh.. Actually it didn't...
We can do anything as human beings, we are amazing but sometimes we just don't have to
