The bonnet is ready to go into service mode and another pair of hands is ready for the lift.Make sure the car shuts down properly before disconnecting, have a cuppa.
Make sure you know how to put the bonnet in service mode.
Oh and dont leave the battery in the boot when you disconnect the battery. Its not a problem it just means you have to have 2 cups of tea before you can do the job
.
I also dont know if you have to inform the brain of a new battery on that year, if you do it will need diagnostics to do so.
@backinblack should know.
Oh and eat your weetabix they are heavy and not in the easiest of places.

L322 - Td6 Battery change
I've purchased a Varta HI1 110ah 920a battery. I have a 2005 Td6. Is there anything I should be aware of when fitting this new battery? Anything requiring resetting or calibrating? Thank you.www.landyzone.co.uk
110ah 920 cold crank was the battery most recommended on three different fora. Several people said it was over powered. As above, no battery management but I see you ignored the advice and went for the smaller battery.
If you have a Vogue or one with lot's of extra's fitted the 920a may struggle a little if it's not your daily driver and/or used for short trips.
The bonnet is ready to go into service mode and another pair of hands is ready for the lift.
Do you mean the new battery in the boot or the old one and could you explain why I shouldn't leave it there please?
These cars are very power hungry, the right battery is the biggest that will fit in the hole110ah 920 cold crank was the battery most recommended on three different fora. Several people said it was over powered.
Yes and no.Presumably it's difficult to open the boot with the battery disconnected![]()
Ahhh yes, but good pointIt was my mistake, I left it in the boot and disconnected the battery then couldnt get it out, hence I had 2 cups of tea

Thanks for this. Mines an every second or third day driver. Often motorway or main road driving. Also living in southern Spain, cold mornings are rare.I had a 900a and while it was fine when driven daily it struggled when not used for a week or so. It's now in the boot as a secondary battery.

So the other 3 forums know better yet you're asking us.110ah 920 cold crank was the battery most recommended on three different fora. Several people said it was over powered.
Obviously not as you have ignored our recommendations. Hopefully you will prove us wrong after it's been fitted for a few months.Happy to be corrected though.
I would suggest a trickle charger or solar panel if you leave it for a week. Thanks for this. Mines an every second or third day driver. Often motorway or main road driving. Also living in southern Spain, cold mornings are rare.
A good number of us have already fitted the larger battery so what issues would you expect?I think if I went larger size I'd have problems.
