Hello all, I have posted before with a couple of topics but now have my landrover to actually show!
I learned to drive in a series 3, then bought an ex mod lwb series 3 which I loved dearly, then got a swb ex mod defender but sold that in 2005, decided life was too short to not have another and so this is now mine, 1977, not sure of its history but this is how I bought it and I absolutely love it. I could happily sit and stare at it for hours. A few little issues to iron out..until the next ones…steps to fit as I’m short but it’s a really nice drive and over the moon.
I’m in Sussex so hoping to meet up at Midhurst and henfield and hopefully do Beaulieu and a few other places.

Very smart landy luv it . I hope you enjoy it. :):)

Thank you very much, seems to make people smile when you drive past and brings back happy memories of my others. Love it!

I can imagine, it looks very straight and as @Stanleysteamer says incredibly clean.

Mine is a '78 and has a more ratty look, a.k.a. scruffy...
I would love it but would have to put it in an extremely secure garage every time I parked it up to stop scrotes nicking stuff off it, such being the way of the world nowadays. :(:(:(

I didn't want to worry a new member on day one but it is a real concern. I would be a bit worried. The look of mine would probably deter parts theft but maybe not nicking the whole Landy.... mind you last year someone cut through my wire fence and nicked about six car batteries which were sitting on a pallet. They were all scrap but I wasn't too happy. They didn't touch the Landy though, fortunately.
