It seems the Gap IID tool is the go to like Nanocom is with the P38 but I've noticed they an L322 module.

Anyone got this and can rate it? The Gap tool is on my list to get but thinking of what to use in the interim.

Yes got 1 and so far has done all we have needed, but not really had to use it much as our L322 ace and don’t breakdown.

I'm possibly being a total dunce but I can't see details on their site of what the module does on the l322.

Download the manual. It will confuse you even more:eek::).
There is a chart on the site that shows what it does or is it in the manual.

When you get 1 there is a forum to help any questions.
Live data is priceless:).

Personally, I have a nanocom for a D2, which I could have upgraded, But for the L322 (2011 4.4 Tdv8) I chose to just buy the GAP IID BT tool.

I find the GAP is not as intuitive, but it does work well with the car. Plus it is always being updated.

Cheers

I definitely intend to get one but if the Nanocom can do at least something with a cheap module, it's worth it until I sort the IID Tool. Having just bought the car for a not inconsiderable amount of money... I want to make sure I've got at least a wee bit of spare cash for anything nasty haha.

Yep , I understand what you are saying. But I looked at it and decided with the big cash outlay the extra for a good diagnostics was worth it.

I have never tried the nanocom evo with the L322 and would like to, but I just did not get the feeling it was 100%. But I may be wrong.

For me the cost extra was worth paying.

Cheers

The support from gap is also fantastic, I keep it in the car and use it with my phone I can also use it on the wife's D3 and pretty much any other landrover product. I havnt even had it unlocked for the more advanced functions but will at some point.
I did get it unlocked for my mates D3 simple process and showed all the other advanced functions at their best
