Nice to meet you all

Hi folks,
First post here and first land-rover I have owned, this weekend past i bought a 2004 td4 free lander HSE to use as a second vehicle, luckily i did as my other car, a 2013 Fiesta st180 engine packed in 2 days after buying the Landy.
I'm from the north east of Scotland in Aberdeenshire for any who are interested or also local, Look forward to many questions and discussions about all things landrover.

I stay just south of Aberdeen, near Stonehaven, nice corner of the world even if i am a little biased

Welcome to Landyzone. The freelander 1 is arguably the best vehicle landrover made. It's not without its little idiosyncrasies but they are easily fixable compared to the newer stuff.

Did you lot recently have a train derailment due to flooding. I was looking for work around Aberdeen while I was on my last legs in the Royal Air Force and a engineering firm from Stonehaven was looking for Supplier/Stock Controller type. Didnt avail alas but gave me a hint. Coastal wise there a few nice places on the east side. Cove Stonehaven Johnhaven. Enjoyed my time then during the late eighties.
