Gearbox fault message

HI guys
2008 RRS 2.7 hse

Now and again gearbox fault message comes up then goes off. Maybe once every 8 or so days.

Not having problems as such just when cold i try go up hill and foot to the floor its crawling up as if im trying to go up in 3rd gear.

Very recent full service and also had gearbox oil and filter change WASNT FULL FLUSH.

Any ideas please. Thanks guys

Was it ok before the service to the transmission ?

Standard answer, check the battery voltage.

No its always done it guys since i bought it. Havnt had it that long only few months. Its not regular thing as i said.
Whats voltage should it be giving out

Engine at 2K rpm you should see at least 14.7 volts across the battery. Engine off and after it's stood for half an hour or so you should see 12.8 volts minimum.

Il give it a go and see what the voltage is. Thanks for your time mate
