The p38 I've just brought has got a kenlow fan fitted and some of you may know my rad split when I got the car so I'm going to fit a ali one I've had the head tested all ok and water pump all ok think the coolant cap may be a problem but ordered a new one genuine . My question is how can I test the kenlow fan to see if it's working not sure how they are fitted into the cars system . I was going to also do the mod for the air con fans as a back up what peoples thoughts on this cheers

If you do my aircon fans mod, the Kenlowe would not be needed but could be wired into my mod.
I run 2 P38's with no viscous fan using just the aircon fans and have had no problems even in 42C

I need an email address to send the information too.
To test the Kenlowe (which you will not need) disconnect it and connect the fan wires to the battery.
Testing the Kenlowe thermostat is a bit more difficult and they do fail.

Spam sent!!
The fan mod works brilliantly, I have an adjustable thermostat on mine. Which is great for off roading as well. Big thanks to Keith.
