Hi,

I can see how to remove a normal aerial base, you just undo the screw/nut and it will come off but how do you remove the aerial base that is for the navigation system, its a completely different design and I cannot find anywhere that says how the base on the roof comes off, there dont seem to be any screws on the inside of the car to undo that I can see.

Its the same base that is in the link below, you can see it with the base removed, but how do you remove the base to start with :/

https://www.greenlandrover.uk/gps-antenna-installation/

Any help appreciated thanks

Looking at that page it shows a pic with "the GPS antenna lower piece in place" - so would installation not be

1) hold lower piece in place (some how!)
2) mate up upper piece and screw (fix) together
3) push on cover
4) screw in FM antenna

So removal would be reverse.

Just thinking out loud really - I've never seen one.

Hi, yes I thought something like that but the "upper" piece is all one piece and there is no way to screw the two parts together. I have the sat nav fitting instructions for if like you bought the kit which I thought would help but that just shows the upper part being pushed down onto the lower part but nothing about how to remove the two parts. Strange

I stand corrected, there is a screw, you can see it in this picture :-

Well looks pretty straight forward then :)
