The most miles out of one tank.

So for ages I’ve been getting around 320 miles tops from £70-£80 fill up.

Standard 110 CSW TD5 (no remap or snorkel)

Anyway I’m just about to hit the 400mile mark off one tank, the only thing I changed (because it was dying) was the fuel pump.

I digress too much but what is the most miles you’ve covered off 1 standard size fuel tank?

I've done about a 1000 miles on the back of a RAC Recovery truck

431 miles in my '85 110 with over 250k on the clock... Although, it's not the original engine (disco 200tdi) though I'd guess its about due a rebuild as it smokes a fair bit and recently has started to sound like a bag of spanners

Since the fuel tank is about 17.5 gallons and I get 32mpg from the disco transfer boxed 110. I think that means I could get 560 miles from a tank full. But I never run it below a quarter so I've not measured it.

Used get 400-450 out of my last TD5 110. Was remapped, intercooler, decat, egr binned etc and on 33x12.5s MTs with disco transfer box.

Averaged 28-32mpg and could do 27 even when towing on a run.

My current one only does about 23-25mpg max though with the same mods so seems the engines can vary abit.
