If your Landy was nicked, would you buy another the same?

This thought troubles me. My defender is the first car I have ever owned that is potentially worth more than I paid for it.

There are lots being stolen at the minute, and I suspect the the insurance payout would not fund another one.

So, would you buy another in this case? If not, what would you get? I think I would buy one of these - its the same shape as a defender at least!

I have a 90 but if it was nicked I would get a 110 to replace it as the 90 is useless for load space.
If a 110 / defender was out of the question, I could be tempted by a landcruiser or a Jeep Wrangler.

You'd seriously compare a jeep commander to a defender  I have to say apart from stuffing crap in the back I don't miss my old defender, looking forward to having my 2a on the road though

As I rapidly approach retirement, it would be harder to justify having a second vehicle.
I would still need a tow vehicle, at moment I'd still get another defender, but as the great reduction in income nears it becomes less likely.
