Looking for a complete and working Hotwire injection system from a 3.9L Rover V8.

I'm in Dorset, don't mind traveling but can always arrange a courier if it gets boxed correctly.

What can you come up with? :D

Contacting people breaking Discoverys and not getting much luck!

One response...

it would be chaeper too buy a mot failure up and running .and then scrap rest of motor.

...?!?!?!?! To hell with that! But seems like it will be only option, havent found anything yet.

Arrrrghhh! Why do TWO more opportunities have to come up when I've gone and paid for one already.

The hotwire injection system is basically all the parts above and including the inlet manifold.

There should be 13 bolts to undo the inlet manifold, you may need to remove the plenum chamber (the part with '3.9' written on it) and the ram housing(its got lots of tubes inside the plenum) and the fuel rail/injectors(bolted to the inlet manifold) before you can get to all the inlet manifold bolts.

So basically, unplug the wiring loom from the injectors and sensors, disconnect the fuel pipes at the back of the engine, remove the inlet manifold, pull the wiring harness through the bulkhead (don't forget to unplug the ECU and a plug that goes into the car loom as well) and then thats pretty much it. Oh and the Mass Airflow Meter as well.

The complete system will look something like this (obviously only one inlet manifold though)

Actually... how much for the complete engine, including all the ancillaries and the serp belt with nothign remove? I've been looking for a complete serpentine engine with distributor...
