aircon pipes ... .mine has the aftermarket genuine aircon and the coolant pipes head out that hole Cheers Simon

well .. I took off the dash board top strip removed the radio console and the first plastic tray underneath that was enough to see the main wiring loom pulled it up .. looked fine then saw the 2 blue headers looked ok until I turned one over ... brown spot in a corner!!! ahhhh...

OK I have exactly the same problem - been trawling websites for weeks trying to find the problem ... same issue turn the lights on alarm sounds been intermittent for month on and off .. now its stopped completely! my TD5 has air con ... so ... hows the best way to get to this plug ...
