    indeed, blanking plugs are useful can always be used afterwards as a pin. my problem is more the other way around, I want to joint two pin to one wire and I am scratching my head to find a solution.

    Thanks a lot, for bullet connectors, I knew some double ones existed. but DT connectors are waterproof and can have a lot more "pins". so this is why I wanted to stay in that root.

    Thanks. I think I will give it a try to using paper to make a template first. I looked at it and it seams that the rear is pretty strait. No curves. I will keep you posted on the progress.

    Regarding the lights, i changing everything to led including a new flasher relay. I plan on wiring a simple switch for the warning lights. The car is from 1989 and originally fitted with a td engine and now a 300tdi.

    The cumbersome relay is the warning light switch which cause a lot of issues from what i read. I also think that just identifying with the ohm meter should be enough.
