Thanks for the replies. It seems when the ecu is not connected to the batt it's doing something like de-energising and then it will start for a bit. The positive batt terminal is getting hot so I going to recheck the earths. Thanks

Hi The pump is working but I just test the white and purple wire and there was 11.5 volts going to it. Is this correct ? Thanks for your help Yungy

Thanks Rasher Breather is not blocked but thanks for the idea. Took the fuel pipe off and switched the ignition on and the pump is deffo working. It wants to start but something is switching off. Could be the ecu but there is no faults stored. Regards Yungy
