    Think I've found the problem top right angle hose split. Hope this cures it. Thanks for all the advice. As for mutsnutz comment, how the hell can kids afford petrol at these prices?:D

    Hi just been reading this thread as I was looking for some info about mine. Just come back off holiday towing a caravan with 2005 freelander when on the last part of journey I got the wooshing noise accompanied with loss of power, black smoke from exhaust and the engine malfunction light coming...

    That's what I thought it was. When pressed in a Vauxhall it would tell you the license had expired but this 1 dosen't seem to do anything.

    Hi just got a 05 freelander td4 on the right side of steering column is a button marked Tm in a circle. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it does. Nothing found in owners manual
