This thread fought my eye as I have a 14j engine and also has the vacuum pump still attached, at least I’m assuming that’s what it is. What’s best to blank them off?

Yes, that’s for the posts. I have all the parts. Most are fitted using both the upper and lower brackets. However I still have the challenge to fill the retaining buckle. I’ll need to find a way to support under the seat box to the chassis.

Thanks for the reassurance. The oil leak is only minor but there are a few places including engine, gearbox and transfer box that have a small leak. So lots to keep me busy. I’ve only owned it for a few weeks so trying to sort the issues out bit by bit. I’ll be doing full fluid change anyway as...

Ah I wasn’t aware it’s supposed to have a dip stick for the overdrive. I’ve only had it just over a week so still learning what’s what with it. I’ll have to find some strip down images. Thanks

Those look dry good for the price but I’m just not sure where is best to bolt them down to they stay attached should the wrist happen. Thanks R

Good evening, I’m the new proud owner of a 1963 series 2A. It’s a diesel but looks like at some point in the distant past a 2.5 na 14j was installed, so not original. There’s an overdrive as a bonus but I’ll need practice the double declutch for dropping down into second as I’ve not mastered...
