I did a static test with a multimeter and not with any load etc. will order new ones anyway. The car is used most days and ran fine apart from being a bit kanagroo ish at slow speeds.The car had done over 220,000 miles without many issues.

Hi, have checked all the fuses and my pump relay on my 1999 is green and under the dash. opened up the relay and tested its operation. I bypassed the contacts and fuel seemed to flow out of the disconnected pipe. But I cannot hear the pump running or get the car started.
