If it helps at all there's a multi plug behind the airbox that connects the engine loom to the bulkhead, I found on mine the plug had either corroded or been strained and the pin had half slipped out. Looked connected but wasn't making contact

When I initially stopped lifted the dipstick to check level and noticed exhaust gasses coming up the tube so opened the filler and seemed to be excessive in there but she wasn't running at that point so hard to tell how hard it was breathing. Had only just had a new cyclone if that helps at all

Thanks for the reply. Oil level was spot on and had been all weekend. What's baffling me is what could cause the pressure to drop off at speed but seem ok at town speeds. Planning to drop the sump and have a poke around tomorrow eve. The pickup pipe was spotless and fitted with a new o ring

It would but had to change a cracked bell housing to and wouldn't have the room with sliding the box back plus all my floor screws look rather seized lol

Cheers guys seems odd to be missing all the studs, there's only one in there so assumed the rest to be bolts. So looks like 9no studs and 9 flange nuts needed ? Planning to also remove the flywheel housing to re seal against the block with new rear main seal and clutch while I'm down there...
