    Is this good value?

Just browsing eBay and came across this. Has anyone used this service? It seems remarkably good value. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-DEFENDER-300-TDI-RECON-ENGINE-SUPPLY-AND-FIT/153076296856?hash=item23a40eec98:g:7XkAAOSwuHdaV2~l

    Hose keeps splitting

Yes there is, and in a variety of attractive colours. Shame they don’t do one in a faded green/browny yucky colour.

    Hose keeps splitting

Just been for a long drive, removed cap and...........nothing happened. Hoses aren’t pressured and no mayo in water or oil. As another poster has said, it may just be cheaper quality hoses.

    Hose keeps splitting

I wondered that as well and it was the first thing I checked. The split occurs about 1/2 inch down from the clip and away from the metal pipe. The jubilee clips don’t have any sharp edges anyway. I just bought another Bearmach hose and will try that. Watch this space.....

    Hose keeps splitting

Good morning to you. Got a bit of a head scratcher here. I have a 110 300tdi with 150,000 miles. In the past 4 months it has got through 3 oil breather hoses. The first time, I noticed it was just a random piece of hose so I cut an inch out of it and reattached it. Then it split agin so I bought...

    Strange EGR thing.

Hi there. I just bought a center cubby box for my Defender 300tdi but upon lifting the center seat I find a box on the bottom of it . It has a wiring loom going into it along with 'DIESEL EGR ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT ERR 6233 TYPE NO.4115. What is it? Do I need it? What do I do with it?

    Greetings from mountainous Suffolk.

Well finally got my hands on a 90 300tdi. I also ride a motorcycle and in many ways this landy is very similar. Its noisy, rattly, bumpy, drafty, you get blown around a lot and then when it rains, you get wet! Love it.

I used to run a Transit with a TDDi and it ran just fine on cooking oil, which I purchased for 48p per litre. The mechanical fuel pump works better than common rail, pressurised injection systems. Which Landy engine is best for cooking oil?

    Greetings from mountainous Suffolk.

Good evening to you all. While I don't actually own Landy yet, I am looking to buy a 90 within a week or so. The trouble is, the different adverts I see all say they have the best engine for a diesel, whether its a td5, 200 or 300. So, which is best? All the best and looking forward to...
